Aardvark Mobile Notary's website highlights our mobile notary public service for Los Angeles and Ventura counties in the state of California. On the website you will find our services, rates, service area, and some interesting notary information and trivia. We had a lot of fun designing the site and hope you enjoy it and find it informative.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We are hoping to spread the word about our services to the communities of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. We also wanted to add some fun information to lighten everyone's day.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched our first website, http://www.mymobilenotary.us, about two years ago. It has done quite well and was also fun to develop. Our first website, http://www.mymobilenotary.us, has recently gone through a complete overhaul to make it more user friendly and visually appealing. We hope we have accomplished that. We have also added information about a great half price ticket website that we personally use. Using the ticket source we found, we have been able to see many more shows and live entertainment in our community. We are hoping to spread the word about this gem to the community as well.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Aardvark Mobile Notary seemed approachable and fun to put the customer at ease. We also like the picture of the aardvark.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I would have to say the breadth of coverage of our business. We have included facts and trivia to a greater extent than other similar notary businesses. Our rates are also better than all of the notary services in our community.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to keep building our client base and spreading the word about our business. We love our work. It brings into contact with many interesting people. We love helping and making our clients' day just a little smoother.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Our new website is a lot of work, so obviously it is taking a great deal of time daily. But we are confident it will pay off in much satisfaction.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would love to have a professional search engine optimization company assist us in the weekly and daily tasks of fine tuning the site. That would relieve a lot of time. But then again, we're having with the artistic and challenging aspects of the site.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Probably not. We would then definitely have to seek outside assistance.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Nothing really at this time.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Search engine optimization.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Finding directories and blogs to spread the word about our website.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Much more work than we had imagined.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Our current site is two months old. We have no intention of shutting it down until retirement.
What do you do in your spare time?
We enjoy fencing, listening to Celtic music, traveling, and reading of course.
