San Jose Business Consulting

Your name?

Billy the Kid

Your Location (city, etc)

San Jose

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Provides advice for those looking for tax preparation and planning as well as business information in San Jose.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

The added publicity that comes from the internet.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Just recently, a few months ago.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

A domain name that is descriptive enough to allow people to get the gist of the site just from the domain.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It's localized to San Jose.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

It will remain online to drive business to the company.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

It would have a lot more pages, and more advertising.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Of course.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Search engine optimization.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Making the site without using tables.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I'm currently still working on that.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It has been pretty much how I expected it, actually.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It has been around only a couple of months, but should be up for years to come.

What is your website address?

San Jose Business Consulting
