We are a small SEM, SEO Internet marketing site. We specialize in profitable marketing campaigns.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We had to. Having a website is kind of like having a business card these days - if you don't have a website you just don't look professional.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
2001 - beersummit.com. It is still around, and I had a great time with that company
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I was lazy. :) The agency is Pierry Interative & Pierry.com wasn't, so pierryinterative.com it was.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We really do a better job when it comes to profitable online marketing campaigns. There are a lot of companies that are paying WAY too much for their online ads, plus they don't have good tracking, so its tough for them to prove the ROI. We help with.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Not sure yet. Since we are just starting, at this point and in this economy I think everyone just wants to have a steady income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Both are worth the investment if the ROI is there.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Not much yet, I think I would add our tracking systems to the website, but that is coming soon.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
yes, we have access to a great list of contractors who we would love to bring on full time. Bring on the customers!!
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
That is a tough question, is that for this company or any company I have run?
What has been your biggest challenge?
Not sure yet, the company has only been around 3 months, ask me in 6 months.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Not much yet.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It has been up for 1 month, and I expect it to run for a while
Have you ever brought a site down with driving too much traffic to it?
Yes, multiple time actually...The site just couldn't handle the volume
